Located in Hauula, Hawaii, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering nutritious food choices and promoting health among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age five. Through comprehensive nutrition assessments and educational support, WIC empowers families with tools and resources for better health. Our program offers breastfeeding promotion and support, referrals for substance abuse cessation, and access to essential health and social services, along with supplemental nutritious foods tailored to meet the unique needs of our participants. To join, qualified individuals must meet specific income guidelines and demonstrate a medical or nutrition risk, ensuring that we provide targeted assistance where it is most needed.
