MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Hawaii National Park, HI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on ensuring that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity, providing tailored referrals to appropriate weight management services designed to meet individual needs. We offer a range of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which facilitates in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, allowing Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
