Each patient can receive up to $800 annually to visit PNH specialists or seek second opinions, ensuring they receive the most informed care possible. Our program covers a range of travel-related costs, including airfare or train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and co-pays for medical visits or tests not covered by insurance. We also understand the importance of support during these journeys, allowing grantees to travel with one companion, ensuring patients from Hawi, HI, can access necessary medical care with dignity and comfort.
