The American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to supporting families in Hilo, HI, who are facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Our Grant Program provides crucial financial assistance to families of children currently battling cancer and to survivors within four years of remission. We understand the financial burden that comes with this journey, which is why we offer help with essential needs such as housing, utilities, food, medical expenses, prescriptions, funeral costs, and transportation to medical treatments. Each request for assistance is evaluated individually, ensuring that support is tailored to the unique needs of each family based on available funding. We aim to alleviate some of the stress that comes with treatment by directly paying service providers on behalf of those we assist, reinforcing our commitment to care during these critical times.
