About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Holualoa, HI, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to be advocates for a just and sustainable food system. By providing thorough education in organic food systems, the Fellowship ensures that participants can grow and distribute diversified crops while implementing innovative health and educational initiatives. Fellows will engage with the community through school and community gardens, farmers markets, and programs designed to enhance food and ecological literacy. This transformative experience includes six months of hands-on learning at our farm campus, followed by a Community Action Year where fellows collaborate with local non-profits to put their training into practice. We believe that access to food education should be available to all, which is why our program is tuition-free, promoting inclusivity and equity in the pursuit of food justice.
