Located in Honaunau, HI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to appropriate weight management options that cater to their unique preferences and needs. MOVE! offers a variety of care methods, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. For those who prefer mobile management, our MOVE! Coach app is available to facilitate self-guided weight control. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who face ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, ensuring comprehensive support throughout their journey.
