Located in Honaunau, HI, our program offers up to $800 in travel expenses each year for U.S.-based PNH patients seeking specialized care or second opinions from PNH experts. We understand the challenges of accessing necessary medical services, and our funding can be used for a range of expenses including airfare, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and co-pays for doctor visits and medical tests not covered by insurance. Additionally, we recognize the importance of companionship during these journeys, allowing grantees to travel with one support person using the provided funds.
