The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Honokaa, HI, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to fostering equitable and sustainable food systems. We empower our Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on training that emphasizes organic farming principles, food equity, and community engagement. Our program not only covers the essentials of growing and distributing diverse crops but also encourages collaboration with local partners to implement educational initiatives, manage community gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. As part of their journey, selected Fellows participate in a transformative six-month residency at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge with regional non-profits. There are no tuition fees, ensuring that our Fellowship remains accessible to all passionate individuals eager to make a difference. We invite aspiring leaders to apply by March for an enriching experience from May to October.
