Early Head Start (EHS) in JBPHH, Hawaii, is dedicated to supporting low-income families with infants, toddlers under three, and expecting mothers through quality early childhood education and comprehensive services. Our program uniquely emphasizes home-based learning, providing personalized support with weekly visits that focus on nurturing child development and empowering parents. We offer a range of essential services including health and developmental screenings, family support, and a prenatal curriculum designed specifically for pregnant mothers. Additionally, we encourage social interaction and community building through bi-monthly group activities that foster parent-child connections. While currently serving East Hawaii, we are excited to expand our reach with future classroom locations at Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, ensuring more families receive the crucial assistance they deserve.
