The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of low-income kūpuna in Jbphh, HI, by providing essential monthly food assistance. Each Senior Food Box contains nutritious USDA food, carefully selected to combat senior hunger and minimize the risks of hospitalization and nursing home placements. Our program aims to ensure that every participant receives the needed nutrients to support their health. To apply, interested individuals can download the application from our site and submit it to the Hawaii Foodbank. Please note that due to the high demand for our food pantry service, there are wait lists at all distribution locations, and enrollment does not guarantee monthly boxes. However, we strive to distribute any extra boxes to clients on the wait list after scheduled distributions.
