At the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program in Jbphh, HI, we are dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission encompasses comprehensive nutrition assessment and education, along with robust support for breastfeeding, ensuring that families receive the care and guidance they need. We also provide valuable referrals for substance abuse cessation and other health and social services, and offer supplemental foods that meet the unique dietary needs of our participants. Eligibility is based on income criteria and medical or nutritional risk, making our services both accessible and impactful for those who need them most.
