The Senior Food Box Program, or Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to providing low-income kūpuna in Kahuku, HI, with monthly boxes filled with high-quality USDA food. Our mission is to alleviate senior hunger and promote better health by offering nutritious supplements that can help prevent serious health issues and reduce the risk of costly hospital stays. We understand the critical importance of nutrition for our elderly community, and each Senior Food Box is carefully designed to meet their dietary needs. To join the program, you can easily download and complete our application online, which should then be sent to the Hawaii Foodbank. Due to the high demand for our senior food assistance, there is currently a wait list for distribution at our locations. However, we ensure that applications are processed in the order received and, whenever possible, we provide extra boxes to those on the wait list at the end of each distribution. We are committed to supporting our kūpuna and helping them maintain their health and independence through access to nutritious food.
