The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Kahuku, HI, is dedicated to promoting health and improving the lives of Veterans by tackling obesity through comprehensive weight management solutions. Our mission is to ensure that each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and has access to personalized weight management services that align with their health goals and preferences. This includes group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, for Veterans who prefer a more independent approach, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app. For those facing persistent challenges with weight, we also provide options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
