Senior Food Box Program

Hawaii Foodbank Kalaheo, HI

About Senior Food Box Program

The Senior Food Box Program in Kalaheo, HI, known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to providing low-income kūpuna with a monthly supply of nutritious USDA food. Our mission is to alleviate senior hunger and enhance the health of our elderly community, ultimately reducing the risk of hospitalizations and nursing home placements. Each food box is carefully prepared to supplement essential nutrients, ensuring that our kūpuna can maintain their quality of life. To join our program, applicants can download the application online and submit it to the Hawaii Foodbank. Due to high demand for the Senior Food Boxes, please note that there may be wait lists at distribution sites. While we strive to provide support, enrollment does not guarantee monthly availability, but we do offer extra boxes to those on the wait list as supplies permit.
