The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Kalaupapa, HI, is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing significant financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the financial burdens by providing essential assistance for utilities and grocery needs, ensuring that individuals can focus on their health and well-being during challenging times. While our grant covers either utility or grocery assistance, we also collaborate with local organizations to connect recipients with additional resources and support to enhance their quality of life.
