Located in Kamuela, HI, CORE is dedicated to offering financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry facing economic challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to provide essential support to food and beverage service employees with children, alleviating financial burdens by covering critical expenses such as rent, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills, and therapy. We also assist with essential child needs like diapers and formula, as well as childcare costs. Former grant recipients can reapply for assistance only after 12 months have elapsed since their last award, with a lifetime cap of $7,500 per recipient, ensuring that we assist as many families as possible during their times of need.
