Early Head Start (EHS) in Kaneohe, HI, is a dedicated program designed to provide essential prenatal, early childhood education, and comprehensive services to low-income families with infants and toddlers under the age of three, as well as expectant mothers. We focus on delivering personalized, home-based services through weekly visits that last 1.5 hours, where our trained home visitors support parents in nurturing their child's development. In addition to these home visits, we offer enriching group socialization activities twice a month, fostering connections among children and parents through meaningful interactions. With a commitment to health and early learning, we also provide health screenings and specialized curricula for pregnant women, including the Partners for a Healthy Baby program. EHS is proud to serve families throughout Hawaii Island, specifically in East Hawaii, with plans for future expansion to classroom locations at Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo.
