Based in Kaneohe, HI, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry, known as CORE, is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who are facing financial challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to alleviate the burdens of unexpected expenses for families with children, offering vital financial assistance that covers a range of needs including rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, and childcare costs. We understand the urgent circumstances our recipients face, and we strive to provide care and support through our programs. Each applicant is eligible for a maximum of $7,500 in assistance, helping to ensure families can regain stability during tough times, while former recipients can reapply after a year if new qualifying conditions arise.
