In the vibrant community of Kapaa, HI, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential services that include nutrition and health education, breastfeeding support, and access to supplemental foods. We also offer valuable coupons for fresh produce from local markets, ensuring families have access to nutritious options. Our bilingual staff, fluent in Ilocano, Tagalog, and Hungarian, are here to assist, along with additional language interpreters and services for the hearing-impaired available upon request. While appointments are preferred, we warmly welcome walk-ins, making it easier for families to access the support they need.
