Located in Kapaau, HI, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry who are facing financial hardship due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to support food and beverage service employees by covering critical expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills and supplies, therapy, and hospital-related expenses including travel and food. We also assist with the necessities for children, including diapers, formula, and childcare costs. While we strive to help as many families as possible, please note that former grant recipients may reapply only after 12 months from their last award, and assistance is capped at a lifetime total of $7,500 per recipient. CORE is here to provide a safety net during challenging times, ensuring that families receive the help they need when it matters most.
