The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, based in Kaumakani, HI, is dedicated to providing critical support to individuals facing financial challenges stemming from chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our program offers essential utility assistance and grocery assistance to help alleviate some of the burdens during difficult times. While the grant covers either utilities or groceries, we also connect participants with partnering organizations that offer additional resources for their needs.
