The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Kaumakani, HI is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission centers on providing essential resources, including comprehensive nutrition and health education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health and social services. Participants benefit from supplemental food assistance and access to coupons for fresh produce from local markets, enhancing their ability to provide for their families. We proudly offer bilingual staff fluent in Ilocano, Tagalog, and Hungarian, along with interpreter services for other languages and support for the hearing-impaired, ensuring we can meet diverse community needs. While appointments are encouraged, we warmly welcome walk-ins, as we strive to make our services as accessible as possible.
