AlohaPlates2GO is dedicated to empowering seniors aged 60 and over in Kaunakakai, HI, by providing monthly food vouchers to enjoy meals from participating food trucks across Maui County. In response to the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, our program ensures that qualified seniors have direct access to nutritious food options while fostering community connections. Each eligible kupuna receives vouchers that are strictly personal and must be used by them in person, allowing for one voucher per day. Participation comes at no cost, but voluntary contributions are welcomed to help sustain and grow our services. Our focus is on serving those who face significant social and economic challenges, in line with the principles of the Older Americans Act, making sure that all seniors can enjoy delicious meals without the burden of financial stress.
