Early Head Start (EHS) in Keauhou, HI is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of low-income families with infants, toddlers under three, and expectant mothers through a federally funded program that focuses on early childhood education and comprehensive services. With a commitment to supporting families across Hawaii Island, EHS offers a home-based program that includes weekly visits from skilled home visitors who engage in child-centered activities designed to empower parents in fostering their children's development. In addition to personalized home visits, our program features bi-monthly group socialization events that provide meaningful opportunities for parents and children to connect through interactive activities. Future plans for classroom locations are underway at Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, expanding our reach within the community. EHS is committed to offering essential resources such as early learning, health screenings, and family support, making a positive impact on the lives of families across East Hawaii.
