The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Keauhou, HI, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a free, year-long initiative. Our program offers valuable resources such as six informative e-booklets tailored to guide participants on their diabetes management journey, along with a monthly e-newsletter providing practical seasonal tips available in both English and Spanish. Participants can also learn about local community events to enhance their understanding and involvement. Additionally, enrollees who provide their phone number are invited to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage directly with ADA experts to ask questions, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways designed to support their health journey.
