About Senior Food Box Program
The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is committed to providing essential food assistance to low-income kūpuna in Koloa, HI. Each month, eligible seniors receive a box filled with high-quality USDA food, carefully designed to address nutritional needs and combat senior hunger, thereby reducing the risk of serious health issues and avoiding costly medical interventions. Our program works diligently to support the well-being of our elderly community members through reliable emergency food support. Interested individuals can apply by downloading the application available online and submitting it to the Hawaii Foodbank. Due to limited availability and high demand, all distribution sites currently have wait lists; applicants will be added in the order their applications are received to ensure fairness. While on the wait list, please note that receiving a box each month is not guaranteed, though extra boxes may be offered at the end of each distribution to those on the wait list.
