The Congregate Dining Program in Kualapuu, HI, is dedicated to serving seniors aged 60 and older by providing nutritionally balanced meals within a welcoming social environment. In addition to delicious meals, we engage our participants through a variety of arts, crafts, wellness activities, and nutrition education, fostering both health and community connection. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted our services to ensure safety by offering home-delivery of meals three days a week, allowing seniors to receive their meals directly at home. A nominal $2 voluntary contribution is requested for each meal, reflecting our commitment to accessible food assistance for all in our community. We invite seniors to join our program to enhance their nutrition and well-being.
