MOVE! Weight Management Program in Kula, HI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and has access to tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of support options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer to self-manage their weight, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable resources. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite participating in MOVE!.
