The Senior Food Box Program, part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to providing monthly deliveries of nutritious USDA food to low-income kūpuna in Kunia, HI. Our mission is to combat the pressing issue of senior hunger, helping our community's elders maintain their health and wellbeing while reducing the risk of costly medical interventions. Each Senior Food Box is thoughtfully designed to supplement essential nutrients, offering critical support to those who need it most. To participate, applicants can download and complete the application available online, submitting it to Hawaii Foodbank for consideration. Due to the high demand for our services, all distribution sites currently operate with wait lists, and while we strive to assist everyone, recipients cannot be guaranteed monthly boxes until enrollment can accommodate their needs. We appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to serve our kūpuna.
