Located in Kurtistown, HI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Each year, we aim to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, guiding them toward personalized weight management solutions. Our diverse offerings include interactive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system, allowing for at-home support. For those who prefer autonomy, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and, when necessary, bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges.
