AlohaPlates2GO is dedicated to ensuring that seniors aged 60 and older in Lahaina, HI, have convenient access to nutritious meals through our innovative food voucher program. Each month, qualified kupuna receive vouchers to be used at participating food trucks across Maui County, addressing the urgent need for food assistance during the ongoing pandemic. Designed with care, our program prioritizes those facing social and economic challenges, aligning with the values outlined in the Older Americans Act. Participation is entirely free for seniors, and while vouchers are non-transferable and limited to one per day, recipients are encouraged to make voluntary contributions to help sustain and expand our vital services. Together, we work to nourish our community’s vital elders, ensuring they enjoy the delicious meals they deserve.
