The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lahaina, HI is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to building a food system that emphasizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program offers participants hands-on training in sustainable agriculture practices, empowering Fellows to engage with their communities through initiatives that grow and distribute diverse crops, run educational health programs, maintain community gardens, and foster food literacy in schools. By providing organic food system education without tuition fees, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join us in creating more equitable access to healthy food. Throughout the six-month immersive experience at our campus, Fellows cultivate valuable skills, followed by a Community Action Year where they actively implement their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. Aspiring participants are encouraged to apply by March each year for an enriching experience from May to October.
