FoodBasket, located in Laie, HI, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, particularly those who are housebound or residing in rural areas. Our program operates from a centrally located church where we distribute a variety of wholesome groceries, including frozen meats, fresh produce, dairy products, and non-perishable items, ensuring that all recipients receive balanced nutrition. In addition to food distribution, we offer critical services such as limited toiletries, cleaning supplies, and nutrition classes to empower our community with healthy eating habits. To facilitate access, home grocery deliveries are made, although the FoodBasket is temporarily closed during the first week of each month for this service. Community members can visit our church to sign up for the food pantry and receive the support they need with warmth and care.
