The Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program in Laie, HI, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition assessments, education, and support aimed at improving health outcomes for families in need. We offer breastfeeding promotion and guidance alongside vital referrals to health and social services. At WIC, we also ensure access to supplemental food assistance, bringing nourishment and care to those who require it most. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently serving clients via phone to maintain safety while providing the vital support and resources needed for healthy families.
