About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Laupahoehoe, HI, is dedicated to fostering a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and mentorship, our Fellows engage in comprehensive organic food education, empowering them to implement impactful initiatives such as community gardens, farmers markets, and education sessions that enhance food and ecological literacy in schools. Our program emphasizes accessibility by offering the Fellowship free of tuition, supporting fellows in their mission to grow and distribute diverse crops, promote healthy food access, and strengthen local food coalitions. Over six months of immersive, experiential learning at our campus, followed by a year of community action, Fellows apply their education in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations, making a tangible difference in their communities. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for the enriching experience from May to October.
