Located in Lawai, HI, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families of food and beverage service workers facing economic challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to support those in need by covering critical expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills and supplies, childcare costs, and even funeral expenses. We understand the unique pressures that come from working in the restaurant industry, especially when unexpected hardships arise. CORE is here to help alleviate some of that burden, offering grants with a lifetime cap of $7,500 to ensure families can access necessary support during difficult times. Former grant recipients are encouraged to reapply for assistance after 12 months, making it possible for us to continue serving those affected by chronic conditions or new qualifying circumstances.
