MOVE! Weight Management Program in Lihue, HI, is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support Veterans by offering personalized care options tailored to their unique preferences and needs. Each year, we conduct obesity screenings for all Veterans accessing care at VA facilities and connect them with a variety of effective weight management solutions. Participants can engage in group sessions, benefit from telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize our TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system that includes clinician support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after engaging with MOVE!
