AlohaPlates2GO is dedicated to serving seniors aged 60 and older in Makawao, HI, by providing them with monthly food vouchers redeemable at participating food trucks throughout Maui County. This program was created as a compassionate response to help seniors access nutritious meals during the ongoing pandemic. Each approved participant receives food vouchers designed to meet the needs of those facing social and economic challenges, as outlined in the Older Americans Act. Vouchers are non-transferable, with one voucher available each day, offering a direct way for kupuna to enjoy delicious meals at no cost.
