MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Makaweli, HI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support each Veteran in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight by annually screening for obesity at VA facilities and providing tailored referrals to a variety of weight management services. With options such as engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! in-home support, we ensure that every Veteran can find the right approach that fits their lifestyle. Additionally, our MOVE! Coach mobile app offers a self-directed management tool for those who prefer to take control of their weight journey independently. For Veterans who continue to face challenges despite participating in MOVE!, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
