About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Maunaloa, HI, is dedicated to providing free, accessible meal support for individuals over 16 who are navigating their outpatient journey in eating disorder recovery. Our program offers live, virtual drop-in group meals where participants can gather in a safe, nurturing environment to enjoy nutrition while receiving vital support from trained nutrition practitioners. With meal support sessions scheduled four times daily, including two lunch and two dinner options, individuals can easily find a time that fits their lifestyle. Our facilitators, who are undergoing specialized training to obtain their Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) certification, ensure that each session is guided by an understanding of eating disorders. While we focus on providing invaluable meal support, please note that we do not offer urgent care or crisis services, and we encourage individuals seeking immediate help to reach out to appropriate crisis resources.
