Early Head Start (EHS) is dedicated to supporting low-income families in Mcbh Kaneohe Bay, HI, through an essential federally funded program that focuses on prenatal care and early childhood education for infants and toddlers under three, as well as expecting mothers. Our unique home-based approach includes weekly visits from trained home visitors, who foster a nurturing environment that encourages child development while empowering parents with the skills to support their little ones. In addition to one-on-one support, EHS facilitates group socialization activities twice a month, providing opportunities for families to connect and engage in enriching parent-child interactions. With plans for future classroom expansions at Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, EHS is committed to promoting early learning, health screenings, and comprehensive family support, reaching families across East Hawaii and ensuring that every child has a strong foundation for growth.
