The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), serves the essential needs of low-income kūpuna in Mcbh Kaneohe Bay, HI, by delivering a monthly supply of quality USDA food. This program plays a vital role in alleviating senior hunger, fostering better health, and enabling kūpuna to stay out of costly hospitalizations and nursing homes. Each Senior Food Box is carefully curated to provide nutritional supplements that support the well-being of our community's elders. To join this important initiative and receive monthly food assistance, interested individuals can download the application online and submit it to the Hawaii Foodbank. Given the significant need for Senior Food Boxes, there is currently a wait list due to limited availability. Applicants will be placed on the wait list based on the order their applications are received, with extra boxes offered to those on the list as they become available.
