The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) in Mcbh Kaneohe Bay, HI, is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income kūpuna by facilitating access to fresh, locally-grown produce. Through our program, participants receive $50 worth of coupons to acquire fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs from local farmers, farmers’ markets, and approved roadside stands, empowering them to make healthier dietary choices. Running seasonally from April through October, we encourage interested individuals to apply early, as spaces typically fill by May or June. If the program reaches capacity, applicants will be placed on a waitlist, ensuring that everyone has a chance for nutritional support.
