The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to providing essential monthly boxes of nutritious USDA food to low-income kūpuna in Mililani, HI. Our mission is to alleviate senior hunger and improve health outcomes by ensuring that our elders receive vital nutrients, which can help prevent serious health issues that lead to costly hospitalizations and nursing home stays. We invite those eligible to apply for this program by completing the application available online and submitting it to the Hawaii Foodbank. While the demand for Senior Food Boxes is high and wait lists are in place at all distribution sites due to limited availability, we remain committed to supporting our community's seniors. Clients on the wait list may receive extra available boxes at the end of each distribution, helping us to reach as many kūpuna as possible with the food assistance they need.
