The Children with Special Health Needs Program (CSHNP) in Mountain View, HI, is dedicated to ensuring that children and youth aged 0-21 with chronic medical conditions receive the specialized care they need to thrive. Administered by the Hawaii Department of Health, CSHNP provides a wide range of vital services, including information and referral, service coordination for medical specialty care, and access to essential nutrition, hearing, and vision services. We support families through transition planning to adult health care and offer clinics for neurology, cardiac care, and nutrition across the Neighbor Islands.
