Early Head Start (EHS) is a vital, federally funded initiative dedicated to supporting low-income families in Mountain View, HI, by providing comprehensive services for pregnant women and children under three. Our program focuses on home-based early childhood education and offers weekly home visits that foster parents' abilities to enhance their children's development. In addition to personalized support, we host group socialization activities twice a month, allowing families to connect and engage in enriching parent-child activities. EHS encompasses essential services, including early learning, health and development screenings, and family support, all aimed at promoting healthy growth and learning for infants and toddlers across East Hawaii. We are committed to empowering families through dedicated programs like our prenatal curriculum and Partners for a Healthy Baby curriculum, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
