The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Ookala, HI, is dedicated to training and empowering the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program offers a comprehensive educational journey without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Over a six-month immersive experience at AMI's Allegheny Farm Campus, participants delve into organic food system education, working hands-on to cultivate diversified crops and enhance local food access through community gardens, farmers markets, and innovative health initiatives. Following this, our Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to enact real change and foster food literacy in schools and beyond. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, ready to make a difference in food systems from May to October.
