Located in Ookala, HI, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting families with children who have special health care needs. Our mission is to alleviate some of the financial burdens these families face by providing financial assistance for a variety of essential costs. We cover medical expenses such as prescriptions, supplies, and durable medical equipment, as well as non-medical costs like home and vehicle modifications, essential clothing, and everyday necessities. Additionally, we assist with healthcare-related travel costs, including transportation and lodging for medical visits. Each family can apply for grants up to $500 annually, with assessments conducted in the order requests are received. We’re committed to ensuring families have access to the resources they need during challenging times, and we encourage eligible families in our community to reach out for help.
