Early Head Start (EHS) in Paauilo, HI, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of low-income families with infants and toddlers under three years old, as well as supporting pregnant women through comprehensive services. Our federally funded program emphasizes early childhood education and provides valuable resources such as health screenings and family support. Through weekly home visits, our skilled home visitors engage in child-focused interactions, empowering parents to nurture their child’s developmental journey. Additionally, we host bi-monthly group socialization activities, fostering community connections among families. Currently, we offer home-based services across East Hawaii, with plans to expand into classroom settings at Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, ensuring that every family on Hawaii Island has access to early learning opportunities, health resources, and support throughout their parenting journey.
