Early Head Start (EHS) in Pahala, HI, is a dedicated federally funded initiative focused on enhancing the lives of low-income families with infants and toddlers under three years old, as well as expectant mothers. Our program offers essential early childhood education, comprehensive health screenings, and family support through personalized home visits that occur weekly, allowing parents to engage in their child's developmental journey. We host vibrant group socialization activities twice a month, where families can connect and grow together through enriching parent-child interactions. With plans for future classroom locations in Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, EHS remains committed to providing accessible services across the island of Hawaii, especially East Hawaii, ensuring every child and family has the opportunity to thrive with programs like our parental education and the Partners for a Healthy Baby curriculum.
